Wes Johnston

Wes is a comedian and digital biographer who splits his time between the gridlock of Washington, DC and the beaches of Kailua, Hawaii. Following successful careers as a technology executive and private equity investor, he made the natural transition to comedy.

A proud Gen Xer, Wes grew up in Montreal Canada and attended university in the US, where in only four years he earned a degree, a spouse and a green card. His comedy is rooted in observing life's challenges, successes, and surprises, and then sharing those stories through a lens of laughter. Wes has performed extensively in clubs across the US and Canada. When he's not on stage, Wes is a doting father of two adult girls and a perpetually frustrated golfer.

What started as a creative outlet between classes quickly revealed a natural talent for sharp timing and clever storytelling. Audiences are drawn to his confident stage presence, which feels polished well beyond his years. His material blends personal anecdotes with quick, playful observations that make every set feel fresh. In his short time in comedy, he’s opened for nationally touring comics including Lucas Zelnick, Rocky Dale Davis, and Alec Flynn.
