After a 10-year hiatus, O’Tasty are back! Winner of New York City’s 2005 Irish Rhapsody Festival, O’Tasty are perhaps Washington, DC’s largest and most dynamic Irish rock band. Their music pushes the boundaries of Celtic Punk, blending traditional Irish instrumentation including mandolin, bouzouki, accordion, acoustic guitar, fiddle and flute with a contemporary rock backline of bass and drums.
On the heels of their successful debut album ‘A Proper Introduction”, O’Tasty played a number of regional festivals and venues in the aughts and teens including Shamrock Fest, Dewey Beach Music Festival, Knitting Factory NYC, and Fergie's Irish Pub in Philadelphia, PA, but made their name on the DC scene with wild and loud (and usually sold-out) shows at IOTA, Black Cat, DC9, and the venerable Adams Morgan rock dive, Staccato Music Hall.
Come down and celebrate O’Tasty’s 10-year reunion Friday, March 13th at Union Stage on the Wharf. Get your tickets early for the “can’t miss” show of the 2026 St. Patricks Day season!
