About the event

Nathan Evans made serious waves in 2021 with his debut single, “Wellerman”, a reimagining of a traditional sea shanty. The track became a global viral phenomenon, amassing just shy of 1 billion streams on Spotify alone and topping the UK Singles Chart. Since that breakout moment, Nathan has carved out a sonic of his own, blending Scottish folk with pop. His debut album, 1994, showcased his growth as an artist and established Nathan as one of Scotland’s most exciting new voices. The album reached #1 on the Scottish Albums Chart and #2 on the UK Folk Albums Chart. Lead single, “Heather On The Hill” became a fan favourite, achieving over 75 million streams.

2025 has been a standout year for Nathan’s live career. He performed to 25,000 fans on a sold out UK & EU tour, and in October he will be stepping onto the biggest stage of his career yet: his first headline arena show at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro Arena, with all 14,000 tickets selling out in minutes. Nathan has been collaborating with Glaswegian duo SAINT PHNX, co-writing, performing live, and now making and releasing records together.
