Shannon Leigh and The Good Bygones are a Maryland bluegrass band based in Silver Spring and the surrounding area. They draw influences from traditional and contemporary bluegrass, classic country, and whatever else just sounds good. Shannon Leigh Reynolds leads the group with her sultry, old-timey voice and driving rhythm guitar. She brings along with her some of the area’s best and brightest musicians, including up-and-coming favorites and solid bluegrass veterans. Their performances feature excellent vocals and instrumental mastery, and they delight audiences with their unique takes on covers, as well as heartfelt originals.
