Dissonant Innocence

The Exchange Project, Son of Avery, The People Psycologic

About the event

Dissonant Innocence play a variety of styles of music, delivering energetic covers and their own originals. Covering hits across many genres, they play popular titles ranging from indie rock, grunge, and punk to hard rock & nu metal.

Their originals are everywhere from catchy melodies and choruses that you can't help but shout along to, screeching guitar riffs and chaotic, disorienting, and aggressive vocals, and everything in between. While the first EP focused mainly on a more indie sound, taking inspiration from bands like The Strokes, their debut album and beyond plan to take a fully different approach, meant to be abrasive, intense, and open about the horrors of the modern day world.

The Exchange Project is a Washington, DC based rock band. With members hailing from Caracas, Venezuela, La Serena, Chile, Fort Worth, TX and Cleveland, OH, TXP combines high-energy fuzz drenched guitar, inspired intricate bass lines, apocalyptic drums and vocals that go from soulful baritone to full-out rock n' roll snarl in less than a blink of your bloodshot eye. TXP will continue releasing original music in between studio sessions and playing the local DC rock scene.

The People Psychologic is a rock/funk duo from Northern Virginia with infectious grooves and raw energy. The group consists of the bassist/singer GP and the drummer Antonino. Formed in early 2023, they have quickly established themselves with their blend of technique, catchy rhythms, and intense performances. Having played venues around the DMV area, The People Psychologic aims to invigorate the local music scene and beyond with their unique style.
