Shenandoah Run...a history

Bob Melissinos the founder of Shenandoah Run, was determined to put together a group that could perform his favorite folk songs, especially "Today" by Randy Sparks. In 2011, he could say, "Mission accomplished!" It's been 13 years, and Shenandoah Run is still going strong. The nine-person band performs all around DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Wherever we are, chances are we're enjoying performing as much as our audiences are enjoying the show.

Heading into the studio to record our third CD was "old hat" for the two members listed first below who have been with the band since its beginning. Though we work hard to maintain our SR sound, we all bring our own talents and musicality. We appreciate the support we receive from the DC area music community, and we feel honored at the joyful reception from our live audiences. Thank you.
