Yasmin Elhady

Yasmin Elhady is a Comedian, Attorney, and Host of Hulu’s Muslim Matchmaker, where she connects hearts with humor and heart. Born in Egypt and raised in Alabama, Yasmin blends her professional world with her comedic voice to challenge stereotypes, amplify underrepresented voices, and foster empathy. She’s toured internationally, performed at The Kennedy Center and on Netflix is a Joke Radio, has been featured on NBC’s True Story with Ed Helms and Randall Park, and was a “Yes, And…Laughter Lab” finalist. A passionate advocate for refugees and women’s rights, her comedy explores the intersections of faith, culture, motherhood, and identity, offering a unique and powerful lens on today’s most pressing issues. Whether on stage, on screen, or in service, Yasmin uses laughter to inspire change, connect communities, and empower others to live boldly and authentically.

Rola Z

Rola Z is a comedian and show producer who has created shows including Funny Arabs Show and Traumedy by Rola Z. She was an artist-is-residence at the Kennedy Center and has performed at Howard Theater, DC Improv, DC Comedy Loft, Gotham Comedy Club, FunnyBone, Montreal Improv, Union Stage, Atlas Center Performing Arts, Folger Shakespeare Library and the Kennedy Center. She has featured for Sammy Obeid and Zarna Garg. Rola Z has been dubbed ‘Traumedian’ by the Washingtonian. Her brand of comedy is unapologetic, political, edgy, and often dark. She collaborated with the Middle East Institute on a DC Traumedy Festival and received support from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities and created shows for Art All Night.

Mahmoud Jaber

Mahmoud Jaber is a Lebanese-American comedian based in D.C., recently seen opening for Nemr Abou Nassar at the Lincoln Theatre and Sammy Obeid on tour. He’s a regular at the DC Improv, Comedy Loft, and Kennedy Center, and was runner-up in the We Up competition.
