About the event

Over the past six weeks, MBSYEP youth have come together to create an original performance that tells a powerful story of resistance, identity, and pride expressed through rhythm, drama, and creativity. The Modeling & Theater teams lead the way on stage, practicing daily to bring energy and emotion to their roles. The Art & Music teams craft the show’s look and sound, using their talents to build a captivating experience. Meanwhile, the Social Media & Marketing & T-Shirt & Branding teams work behind the scenes to promote the show and design the visuals that represent its message. Rooted in Black history and culture, this production journeys through time highlighting the struggles, strength, and beauty of Black identity across generations. Told through the voices of today’s youth, it’s a bold and creative celebration you won’t forget.
