Toner

Toner, one of the Bay Area’s most beloved and exciting bands. The band has released four albums since 2015, while hitting their stride with Silk Road (2020) and White Buffalo Roam (2021). Since then, the West End rockers have been on the road with the likes of Surf Curse, Glitterer, SPY, Fish Narc, and Hotline TNT, while releasing a series of singles such as the underground favorites “God’s Hammer” and “Haters Anthem”. Always staying true to himself, Cruz continues the evolution of Toner with “Raja Ali” in 2025.

Cruz also owns and operates the label Smoking Room, a hidden bastion for indie, hardcore, shoegaze, and beyond. Smoking Room has released albums for Hotline TNT, They Are Gutting a Body of Water, Provoker and more.
