The Hip Snacks are a Denver-based powerhouse six-piece of explosive soul music. Like a surprise hug from an old friend, this band is just what you didn’t know you were missing. Led by the duo of vocalist Kara Durante Suarez and her husband, bassist Ben Suarez, The Hip Snacks released their acclaimed debut album What Lies Ahead in June 2024, capping a huge year of growth with support slots for Maggie Rose and Clay Street Unit.

The Hip Snacks are heading out on their first national tour this summer, in support of their upcoming EP, and their latest single, “Shouldn’t Have To”, OUT NOW.

The band recorded with legendary emmy-award-winning producer Steve Avedis at Colorado Sound Studios, authentically capturing The Snacks’ signature blend of piercing vocals, dominant rhythms, and blistering solos over songs that can’t help but make you dance.
