MAYSUNS

MAYSUNS is an alternative rock band from Alexandria, VA. With inspiration from an eclectic range of artists such as Queens of the Stone Age, Jeff Buckley, and Jellyfish, MAYSUNS has been writing original music since the band’s inception in 2018. Their first full-length album, The Oldlight, won Best Rock Album at the 2023 Washington Area Music Awards (The Wammies); Foolhearted, included on the album, won Best Rock Song. With new singles “Silencer” and “Flatiron” released on Oct. 31st and Dec. 3rd of 2024, MAYSUNS is moving into a new phase of their band’s identity and musicality.

Argo and The Violet Queens

Argo and the Violet Queens is a conceptually driven psychedelic rock band that blends surreal stage props with video collages to create an immersive world in which the audience lives for the duration of their show. Sonically, all four members make unique contributions to the band’s overall sound as they weave through explorations of what the 20th century’s preeminent genres can be once altered by live experimentation.
