Hollertown

Hollertown is one of Washington D.C.’s premiere bluegrass & old-time bands. They’ve entertained audiences for nearly 20 years with original songs, traditional standards, and covers of bands from Motley Crue to the Texas Tornadoes. The band has performed at the Kingman Island Bluegrass and Folk Festival, the Bourbon and Bluegrass Festival at President Lincoln’s Cottage, and top music venues including Jammin’ Java, Pearl Street Warehouse, the Quarry House Tavern and Union Stage.

The AlgoRhythms Bluegrass Unit

The AlgoRhythms Bluegrass Unit (ABU) is a modern bluegrass band composed of Jared Kimble (mandolin), Matt Lewis (bass), Sam Allen (banjo), and Brandon Lindley (guitar). They play original music, covers of bluegrass favorites, instrumental music, bluegrass-flavored takes on classic country, rock, and more.
