Dylan Rockwell has been fronting bands in the DC scene for almost a decade. His debut EP as a solo artist, “False Dawn”, featured reflective acoustic tunes drenched in pedal steel and held together by DC’s tightest rhythm section. His sophomore EP, “The Window’s Closing (But It Still Lets In The Light)” raises the energy and the stakes significantly. Releasing on December 10th, these songs lean into a distorted indie aesthetic that keeps you guessing and yet somehow still singing along when the chorus hits.
Bluem (pronounced ‘bloom’) is a melody-driven guitar band evocative of pine forests and long city walks. Hip kids dig it.
