About the event

Cause and Control

Griffin Beronio (Guitar/Vocals), Scott Lonzaga (Drums), and Alex Cope (Bass/Vocals) founded Cause and Control after playing together in jazz ensembles at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Brock Freund (Guitar/Vocals) joined soon after and assumed a shared portion of songwriting duties with Beronio and Cope. Bonding over their shared musical tastes, they decided to bring their multi-genre inspired pop songs to basement DIY shows across Madison, eventually scoring opportunities to open for national acts like Friko, She’s Green, and Farmer’s Wife. This year the band released their debut EP ‘Coyote’, produced in Madison by Isaac DeBroux-Slone of DISQ. This show at the Pearl Street Warehouse will be a homecoming of sorts for Beronio, who was born and raised in Washington, D.C.

Milo in the Doldrums

Based out of Washington D.C., Milo in the Doldrums is a sonic collage of 90’s nostalgia and modern indie rock sentiment.

This show is at Pearl Street Warehouse
