About the event

Capella Grey, a Bronx-based R&B singer, songwriter, and producer, has firmly established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. At 28 years old, he has seamlessly blended hip-hop, R&B, and pop to create a unique sonic experience that has garnered global acclaim. Grey’s rise to prominence began with his breakout single “Gyalis,” which soared to #10 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart and achieved multi-platinum status. This infectious summer anthem not only solidified his place in the spotlight but also showcased his knack for clever sampling and irresistible energy. Grey has continued to impress with tracks like “Baechester,” captivating audiences worldwide with millions of views and streams across all platforms. His versatility was spotlighted on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon, where he performed “Paper Right” alongside Wyclef Jean and Lola Brooke in January 2024, further cementing his reputation as a formidable talent.

Grey’s collaborative efforts with esteemed artists such as Davido, Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes, A-Boogie, and more, underscore his growing influence and adaptability as an artist. Moreover, as the founder of the record company Allepac the Family, Grey has not only showcased his own talents but also nurtured emerging artists within the industry. Before his solo success, Grey made significant contributions behind the scenes, producing and writing music for many artists, as well as managing an all girls group. Grey credits his musical prowess to his days as an SDA (Seven Day Adventist) Church musician, Learning to play many instruments by ear. With an innovative sound, authentic storytelling, and an unwavering commitment to his craft, Capella Grey continues to leave an indelible mark on the music industry, solidifying his status as one of today’s most promising talents.
